Privacy - for facilities

Storer Check balances storers’ privacy with the need for secure and profitable storage facilities.

 

To comply with privacy legislation, facilities must:

  • Have on display and give storers a Storer Check Information Form when entering into a storage relationship.*
  • It is recommended you advise storers when a listing is pending by sending a Pending Listing Form.
  • Only enter factual details into the database.
  • Not enter defamatory or discriminatory information or comments.

A storer’s details should not be entered into the Storer Check database unless the above conditions have been met.

 

Disputes regarding listings will be handled in accordance with Storer Check’s Disputed Listing Policy.
